Please Help Us Donate Baby Books & Gift Cards to the Families staying in the NICU's & Specialty Care Units throughout New England

We've donated over 3,500 books to the NICU's/Specialty Care Units at Brigham & Women's Hospital, Tufts Medical Center, Women & Infants Hospital and Lowell General. My family & I have been asking for donations of new baby books and gift cards for families staying in hospital with a baby in the NICU or Specialty Care Unit Throughout New England. Our miracle baby Anthony Francis was born on May 7th 2

020 at 4:41pm weighing 1lbs 9oz. He stayed in the Brigham NICU for 4 months. Each time that we went to visit Anthony, we would always read him a book. The doctors and nurses said that even though he was so tiny Anthony could hear our voices and that by reading to him it would be a way for all of us to bond. We would love to help give this opportunity to the families that have a baby or babies in the NICU so they can feel a sense of normalcy during a very difficult time.

Great talking with Heather Toland and hearing her story. Heather's daughter Lyla who passed away at 2 weeks old was in the Children's Hospital's NICU and her son Owen was born at Brigham & Women's Hospital prematurely at 34 and is here and healthy. Reading Books was one of the only things they could do. Heather is a Board Member of a great Nonprofit called Emma's Footprints. They help families after pregnancy and infant loss. The organization has many resources from support groups, podcasts and financial support. If you or someone you know could benefit, please check them out.

Today the Warrior Family Books For NICU made deliveries to Boston Children’s Hospital Neonatal Intensive Care Unit and NICU Aftercare Program. The donation of 300 baby books was in honor of Josh & Colleen and their daughter Zoey who passed away. Zoey was born on April 19, 2025, at 37 weeks, in Wi******er Hospital. She needed additional support in the NICU because Zoey had labored breathing. A few tests were done and they found out Zoey was fighting something and she was immediately transferred by the Boston Children’s Hospital team to the Beth Israel NICU. "Although we lost Zoey after 9 days, and miss her everyday, we are also thankful for the kindness, care, and compassion of everyone working in the NICU throughout her life" -Josh & Colleen. Thank you to all of our donors for helping make this delivery possible. Also shoutout to Emily Malaquias Sweet Kind and Wonderful for telling us about Zoey and her family. Emily helped us promote the baby book fundraiser and came with us today for the drop off! We appreciate Tierney Morrision-Neonatologist, Rosemary Bain-Administrative Associate, Julianna Howland-Nurse Practitioner and Donald Surette-Practice Administrator for allowing us to donate new baby books to their units. Big thank you to Ray Auger at Raydio: Your Local Radio Station and your listeners for donating baby books to our charity! Yesterday, Ray and his wife personally delivered the baby books to our table at Fairmount Fruit Farm in Franklin. It was so busy we didn't even take a picture. Ray is a stand up guy and truly loves his community. Adrianna, Anthony and I appreciate your support!
