We are so deeply humbled, and honored by today's official news of Mary Hines Johnson receiving the NSDAR Women in American History Award on Saturday, October 9, 2021 at 10:00 am, in the 4H Center located at the river on 101 Glover Road in Franklin. We want everyone to know the place, and the time so you can clear your schedules for this HUGE event!

We here at Mary Hines Johnson are so honored that Mary has been chosen this amazing honor, and this ensuring her legacy is alive and well. Her life is one of inspiration, a child of God, and remembered for her dedication, determination, and an education pioneer and trailblazer. She left a beautiful story, and a great legacy in return.

Her impact has been felt since, if you happened to go to school in Heard County at Heard Elementary, Middle, High, as many of her teachers impacted many generations. Her influence has impacted so many it's unknown at the number.

On behalf of us, we want to thank Mrs. Pamela Lyle, and everyone who are part of this wonderful honor. I know for sure Mary's smiling down, and we are so humbled by this amazing gesture. May God Bless all of you!

A statement from the Mary Hines Johnson team.
