Dear Webb Elementary Families,
We are writing to share an update regarding the Webb Elementary Sweetheart Dance originally scheduled for Friday, February 13, 2026. After thoughtful consideration, this event has been rescheduled for Friday, March 6, 2026, from 6:00–8:00 PM.
Over the past week, our building has been hit hard with an influx of Flu A and Flu B cases, with nearly 15% (45-48 students per day) of our student population absent each day. In an effort to help limit the continued spread of illness, allow time for thorough disinfecting of our building, and give our students the opportunity to fully recover, our staff feels it is in the best interest of our school community to push this highly anticipated event back by three weeks.
We understand that this change may cause disappointment or inconvenience, and we sincerely apologize for any disruption this may create for your family. Please know that our students’ health and well-being are at the heart of this decision, and we hope this adjustment will allow more of our Webb Spiders to attend and enjoy this special tradition.
We are looking forward to celebrating together on Friday, March 6, 2026, and hope to see many smiling faces on the dance floor then.
