🌟 SUMMER 4-H CAMP COUNSELOR MALE SPOT OPEN! 🌟
St. Mary Parish 4-H is looking to fill one more male counselor spot for Summer Camp at Camp Grant Walker (June 29–July 2)!

This is your chance to spend a few days making a BIG impact while building friendships and creating lifelong memories. You’ll help campers have the best week ever. As a camp counselor, you’ll be right in the middle of the action. You’ll lead icebreakers, help with activities, and support campers while making sure everyone feels included, safe, and excited to participate.

You’ll stay in bunkhouses with campers and work alongside 4-H staff and volunteers. You’ll help with daily routines, activities, and meals while keeping the energy high throughout camp. Most importantly, you’ll serve as a positive role model. You’ll encourage campers, help them try new things, and make sure they have a fun and safe experience.

There is a short training and full camp-time commitment required, but don’t worry—we’ll guide you every step of the way!
If you enjoy working with youth, have a great attitude, and want to be part of something meaningful and fun, we’d love to have you on the team!

Yesterday, the program hosted its 2026 Achievement Day alongside the Homemaking Fair exhibits! Our clubs traveled to the Patterson Civic Center for this exciting field trip, where members participated in a variety of interactive booths and activities. The day also included an awards ceremony recognizing Outstanding Club Members from each school 🍀

We are more than cows and cooking! Check out our MCHS and PHS Coastal Club at 'Wetland Day.' They planted 5,000 Smooth cordgrass plugs, learned about the history of the formation of the Mississippi River, our 5 lines of defense, and alligators!
