Calling All Southwest Region Louisiana 4-H & FFA Livestock Exhibitors!
📍Join the region on November 30, 2026, in Acadia Parish for the Southwest Regional Showmanship Clinic. Open to 4-H and FFA members in grades 4-12, this hands-on event will help youth strengthen their showmanship skills, build confidence in the ring, and learn more about animal nutrition, health, care, and livestock project management.
📍Participants will rotate through educational sessions, attend species-specific workshops, and receive guidance from experienced livestock volunteers. Youth may bring their own animals for practice, but it is not required.
Important Details:
-Registration is open now through September 30 in 4-HOnline
-$10 registration fee includes lunch and an event t-shirt
-Open to 4-H & FFA members in grades 4-12 only
-Optional YQCA Certification will be offered after the clinic for an additional $3 fee. -Participants must register separately through their YQCA account. Additional details will be sent after clinic registration closes.
