Heard County Humane Society A non-profit 501(c)(3) & licensed GA rescue organization formed to assist our local animals. We DO NOT have a facility. Founded November 2015.

At this moment we are seeking FOSTER FAMILIES! Our desire to assist is great, along with a list of needs and a bucket list of services we want to provide to Heard County (from fostering animals from the shelter to education programs). If you are interested please email us at [email protected]

This cat is breaking my heart.
Sam is 15 years old. He had a loving home but his human mom passed away. He’s been grieving but still SO LOVING. When I go to feed he just ignores tasty canned food and begs for pets. 💔💔💔
I’m giving him all the love I can but he deserves a home where he can be treasured.
He’s fully vetted, litter box trained, and BIG.
Please message this page or text me at +17068144109 learn more about Sam.
And please share. His home has to be out there. 🥺

ISO: Foster or adopter!
This sweet senior girl has had a loving home for most of her life. Her human passed away and now she needs a soft place to land for her golden years.
Sangria is a 14 yr old Japanese chin mix. She’s about 12 lbs. Great with kids, cats, and other dogs.
FULLY vetted. Groomed on Thursday 4/16.
She’s very peaceful and low maintenance. Like most small dogs her bladder can’t make it through the night but she politely uses puppy pads.
Please please open your hearts and homes to Sangria. She deserves more love and attention than I can give her here.
Message this page or text me at +17068144109 to learn more about Sangria.
