Started this week off with our first Verbal Intervention Training. 📚

Thank you to our board member, Susan, for conducting the training, and to our first round of staff who stayed engaged, asked meaningful questions, and are now ready to apply what they’ve learned into responsibilities here at SVL!

One of our favorite moments from yesterday’s Open House - our resident, Amy, wanted to thank everyone for coming. Despite being nervous, she asked for support from staff and was able to thank attendees for joining us! Such a proud moment! ❤️

We also had one of our direct care staff, Cody, who volunteered to play music during the event! 🎸

Our residents decided to lead this evening’s tour! They enjoyed sharing their favorite parts of living at SVL, and some ideas for future projects!
