WE'VE HAD TO POSTPONE the 2021 CONVENTION.

Out of an abundance of caution, the PIA of Tennessee Executive Committee has made the difficult decision to postpone the 2021 Annual Convention at Marriott Shoals Hotel & Spa in Florence, Alabama on August 27-29, 2021. We were looking forward to “Raising the Stakes” by providing the Tennessee insurance community with this opportunity to connect in-person.

However, we have received numerous cancellations over the past several days due to the spread of the COVID-19 Delta variant in both Tennessee and Alabama. We are very disappointed that we have to take this step, but we feel it’s the appropriate decision based on the information available at this time. We certainly do not want to risk anyone’s health and wellness.

Over the next few days, our team will be reaching out to registrants and exhibitors with information about providing full refunds or crediting payments to a future event.

We will cancel all reservations made via the Convention Reservation link to the Marriott Shoals Hotel & Spa.

Within the next few weeks, we will announce plans for a virtual Annual Meeting of Members so that the business of the association can move forward. By that time, we also hope to announce plans for Convention.

We apologize for this inconvenience and appreciate your understanding.
