Franklin, TX MOPS and MOMSNext MOMCO (MOPS) IS AN ORGANIZATION HAS CHANGED ITS NAME TO MOMCO WE ARE BEING MORE INCLUSIVE TO ALL MOTHERS OF ALL AGES PLEASE COME OUT AND JOIN US IN FRANKLIN.

What is MOPS and MOMSNext? MOPS International, Inc is a grassroots movement that believes moms are world influencers. We also believe that incubating hearts and giving just-because-hugs can change the course of history. That’s why we connect moms all over the world to a community of women, in their own neighborhoods, who meet together to laugh, cry and embrace the journey of motherhood. MOPS group

s are rallying women to be more honest, to feel more equipped and to find our identity by journeying along side one another. MOPS stands for Mothers of Preschoolers, and by preschoolers we mean kiddos from birth through kindergarten. We know it's a little confusing so let's just stick with "MOPS." We are moms, and we believe that better moms make a better world. We meet the 1st & 3rd Mondays from September-May from 9:30-11:30 in the education building of First United Methodist Church @100 W Decherd

Tonight we pray for the momma who is in pain. Lord, it might be the physical pain of a bad back, or an autoimmune sickness, or suffering in this incredible heat wave. It might be the emotional suffering of sorrow and grief. Lord, she may have a loved one that she misses terribly, and her heart just hurts. Tonight, we ask for Your healing. We ask for peace and rest and comfort in this moment. We ask in Jesus’s name, Amen.

Tonight we pray for the momma who needs peace. Lord, her mind is going in circles, thinking about "what if?" and "what then?"and "why now?" Her heart feels restless and unsettled. She closes her eyes at night and replays all the stressful moments of the day, and tries to wish them away. Tonight, Lord, may she bring all the cares of the day to you. Please give her peace in her heart and may she rest well .
In Jesus’s name, we pray, amen.

Tonight we pray for the momma of a teenager. Lord, they are daily pushing for more freedom, as we are still trying to keep them safe. Some are holed up in their rooms, and some practically live at their friend's homes, others are driving to their summer sports practices. Managing social media for our teens is practically a full-time job because it's not just what's outside the door that's dangerous. It’s what's in their hands on their phones. Tonight, we ask for grace, strength, and wisdom as we do our best to lead and guide them. In Jesus's name, we pray, amen.
