There’s something special about gathering together for Tuesday Chapel. 💙

Each week, our Emmanuel University community comes together to worship, hear the Word, and take a moment to refocus our hearts and minds on Christ.

We’re grateful for the opportunity to grow in faith and worship together as a community. What a blessing it is to see God moving on our campus!

✨ Senior year is almost here! 🍎📚

Before these future educators step into their student teaching classrooms, they’re making the most of their summer—preparing lessons, gathering classroom supplies, working with children, making memories, and getting ready for the year ahead.

Join us as we take a look at how our senior Education majors are spending their summer and preparing to make a difference in the lives of their future students. ❤️

To our seniors: You’ve been called for a purpose. Trust the process, embrace every opportunity to learn, and remember that the impact you make will reach far beyond the classroom. We can’t wait to see all you’ll accomplish this year! 🍎✨ ClassroomReady

🦁 Alumni Spotlight: Alphonza “Al” Gibbs (BS ’01, BS ’02)

“God was with me.”

For Alphonza “Al” Gibbs, those words define his Emmanuel journey, from an uncertain freshman arriving on campus to a successful entrepreneur, community leader, husband, father, and lifelong Lion. Through the education, mentorship, and relationships he gained at Emmanuel, Al discovered the skills and confidence that helped shape his future.

Along the way, he found not only his purpose, but also his wife, fellow Lion Andrea Gibbs (’01). Nearly 25 years later, Al and Andrea continue to represent the lasting impact of an Emmanuel education, where faith, knowledge, and meaningful connections prepare students for success beyond graduation.

Their story is a reminder that the Emmanuel experience extends far beyond the classroom and continues to shape lives for generations.
