Leyden Family Service hosts two monthly benefits assistance events for seniors 60+!

Walk-Ins and appointments are available for both events! Last person will be seen at 11:30 AM. Early arrival is strongly encouraged. Please bring all necessary documents.

Transportation is available if needed.

🥎 We are honored to once again be selected as the beneficiary of the Village of Schiller Park’s Annual Charity Softball Game! Last year, this incredible event raised nearly $5,000 to support our programs and the individuals and families we serve.

Join us on Friday, September 11, from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Shelton Field for an evening of softball, community, and fun. We hope to see a great Leyden Family Service presence as we cheer on the teams and show our appreciation to Mayor Chad Meyers, the Village Board, and the entire Schiller Park community for their continued support! As part of the Franklin Park Senior Cafe today, Leyden Family Service and Access to Care and Homecare by AUAF are at the Franklin Park Library to provide and educate seniors on resources available to them!

August is National Wellness Month, a time to pause, recharge, and make our well-being a priority. Wellness looks different for everyone, but small, intentional steps can make a meaningful difference. Whether it’s getting enough rest, spending time with people who support you, moving your body, practicing mindfulness, or reaching out for help when you need it, every step counts.

At Leyden Family Service & Mental Health Center, we believe that caring for your mental and emotional health is an important part of overall wellness. This month, we encourage you to check in with yourself, practice self-care without guilt, and remember that reaching out to Leyden Family Service to utilize our services is a sign of strength.

Join us and Leyden Township for the annual Summer Party in the Park tomorrow!

This Friday, August 14th is Party in the Park!

Our annual Party in the Park is a free community event with fun for all ages. This year we have so much fun to offer. From bouncy houses for the kids, a margarita truck for adults, and a brand-new foam party for everyone in between.

We look forward to seeing you all at Westdale Park on August 14th!

Leyden Family Service is proud to offer group therapy for children and teens. These group sessions help children build the social-emotional skills they need including socializing, recognizing emotions, and self-reflection.

These are developed through activities like scavenger hunts, connection and experiences in nature, and art creation.

If you are interested in group therapy for you child or teen, please complete the survey that is linked below. Someone from our team will reach out to you upon completion of the survey. Services are covered by medicaid and most other health insurances.
