Well deserved! Congratulations, Mrs. Cesare 🎉

We are so pleased to announce our 2026 District Teacher of the Year: Rebecca Cesare, Art & Design Teacher at Frankfort High School!

Mrs. Cesare has spent the past 30 years teaching art and sharing her passion for creativity with students in Frankfort. Throughout her career, she has gone above and beyond simply teaching artistic skills; she also ensures that her students build confidence in themselves and their abilities. Many of Mrs. Cesare's former students have gone on to pursue careers and college degrees in art, photography, graphic design, and related creative fields.

“The greatest reward has been watching students discover confidence in themselves through creativity,” she shared. “At the end of the day, the real reward is knowing you helped a student see possibilities in themselves they may not have seen before.”

We are proud to recognize Mrs. Cesare for the dedication, care, and commitment she continues to show to Frankfort students and families! Congratulations and thank you for all that you do!

One of our favorite year-end traditions is the Future Teacher Promise! All of these students plan to pursue post-secondary degrees in education. Our promise to them guarantees a spot for student teaching in CSF, along with a job interview when they are ready to teach.

It's always special when our Hot Dog alumni return to teach in our schools, so we hope to see these faces again in a few years! 🐾

This is what one teacher grant from the Frankfort Education Foundation created! The FHS building trades made planters to put beautify the town! Too impressive and big shout out to Mr Garrett and his class for getting our logo on them as well!

We have teamed up with community partners to host our 1st Annual BACK TO SCHOOL WADDLE!! 🌟

This FREE community event aims to help students and families gear up and get ready to head back to school in August! 🏫👩‍🏫
The Back to School Waddle will feature our 🎒BACKPACK GIVEAWAY🎒 this year! Students will receive a backpack full of supplies to help set them up for success on their first day! Not only are we giving away backpacks, but check out all the other fantastic resources and fun we will be offering that evening!!🤩

So, mark your calendars, tell your family & friends, and meet us at the TPA Park on July 23rd starting at 5:00pm! 👍
