CLE Families,

At the beginning of the school year, CLE staff graciously proposed that they not receive anything for teacher appreciation this year, as they wanted all of the PTO’s fundraising money to go toward the purchase and installation of the new playground. However, we know that some families would still like to show their appreciation to CLE staff, even if it is just with a small gift or handwritten note from them or the student. To help families get to know their teacher a little bit better, the PTO has asked all grade-level teachers and classroom aides to fill out a list of their favorite things. (Which you should have received last week)

Also, to celebrate ALL of the amazing CLE staff, the PTO would like to do two food days during Teacher Appreciation Week. Please consider sending something in on Tuesday, May 8 and/or Thursday, May 10. If possible, please provide pre-cut or ‘grab & go’ options, as KPREP testing is May 8th–May 14, so teachers will be busy!

THERE’S ‘MUFFIN’ LIKE A GOOD TEACHER!
Please send in breakfast items (muffins, casseroles, bagels, biscuits, donuts, fruit, yogurts, juices, etc.) on Tuesday morning, May 8th. - Thank you for everyone who sent items in! :)

HOW ‘SWEET’ IT IS TO BE TAUGHT BY THE BEST!
Please send in sweet treats (cookies, cupcakes, brownies, yummy snacks, etc.) on Thursday morning, May 10th.
