April Brooks is the current principal at Johnson Traditional Middle School. She will become JCPS' new athletic director in January.

On Tuesday, the Kentucky Chamber of Commerce had the opportunity to highlight the Leadership Institute for School Principals with legislators on the Interim Joint Committee on Education.

Frankfort Independent Schools Superintendent Houston Barber, a Leadership Institute graduate and our program co-chair, spoke to the lifechanging impact the program had on his career as a principal.
