This past Tuesday, our 30th annual charity golf outing proved once again why the fire protection industry is so incredible and generous! The event raised $142,000 for burn injury care/prevention and burn survivor support programs through OSF Saint Anthony Medical Center, Cook County Health, Camp I Am Me by Illinois Fire Safety Alliance, and From Tragedy To Triumph Foundation.

This year's Illinois Burn Prevention Golf Invitational was a huge success, raising $136,000 for charities earlier this month. Funds raised from the 29th annual event will be evenly distributed between the benefitting organizations, which include Camp I Am Me for burn-injured children, From Tragedy To Triumph Foundation (which offers college scholarships to young burn survivors), and hospital burn units at OSF Saint Anthony Medical Center (Rockford) and Cook County Health Stroger (Chicago). Of particular interest, we reached a milestone with From Tragedy To Triumph Foundation, having donated more than $200,000 to the charity. Thanks to all the generous sponsors and donors for helping fund burn injury care and valuable burn prevention and burn survivor support programs!

Yesterday, our 28th annual Illinois Burn Prevention Golf Invitational raised $80,000 for Illinois burn injury care and burn survivor advocacy and support programs. The proceeds were split evenly between our four benefitting charities: the burn units at Cook County Stroger Hospital (Chicago) and OSF St. Anthony Medical Center (Rockford), as well as From Tragedy to Triumph Foundation, and Camp I Am Me by Illinois Fire Safety Alliance. Thanks to all the sponsors and individuals who donated to make the event another huge success!

We are proud to support Camp I Am Me by Illinois Fire Safety Alliance with our annual golf outing!

Though we were unable to present our 2023 Diamond Level Donor Award to Illinois Burn Prevention Association at our Recognition Breakfast a couple weeks back, this afternoon we caught up with Committee Member, Erik Hoffer, at the Illinois Fire Inspectors Association's Conference in East Peoria! Thank you again for your decades of continued support of Camp I Am Me!

We had a beautiful day for golf yesterday at our 26th annual Illinois Burn Prevention Golf Invitational.
