The Crystal Lake Sailing School is a Section 501(c)3 tax exempt non -profit organization offering sailing instruction to the children of all ages from throughout the community from the beautiful beach at the Crystal Lake Yacht Club. Although the School’s operations are independent of the Club’s, the School has been authorized by the Club to utilize their facilities for the purposes of teaching stu

dents the wonderful sport of sailing. The sailing instruction program emphasizes safety above all, in an environment that encourages sportsmanship, teamwork, responsibility and resourcefulness. The School is supported by private donations and volunteer efforts, as well as by the lesson fees charged.

Today we hosted our FIRST MC Scow clinic and wowza we had so much fun!

We had 9 junior fleeters learning how to rig, use the hoist, and sail an MC. Three lucky kiddos even learned how to right a capsized MC 🤪

The MC fleet better watch out because these JF kids are ready to sail with you all!
