Roots and Wings Christian Homeschool Cooperative Extracurricular classes for homeschooled children in our community Roots and Wings is a Christian homeschooling co-operative for children PreK-12th grade.

Roots and Wings began as a small gathering of families who came together with a desire to see homeschool class offerings in the Lincoln-Way area. Our group is made up of homeschooling parents and their children who use their time and talents so that many homeschoolers may benefit. We desire to bring glory to God by providing activities, fellowship, and learning opportunities to enhance a family’s

homeschooling journey. Roots and Wings meets on Thursday mornings from 9:00 - 12:55pm at Good Shepherd Lutheran in Frankfort, IL. Families can choose to participate in anywhere from 1 to 4 hours of class options throughout the morning. (You do NOT have to sign up for all 4 hours.) Various other activities and outings are hosted throughout the year. Because we are a cooperative, all parents play a part in making our mornings run smoothly.

Hello Roots and Wings extended family! We have an awesome opportunity we wanted to share with each of you. On November 17th from 2pm to 4pm, we will be serving at Feed My Starving Children in Aurora. This is an amazing opportunity to give back and make an impact during the Thanksgiving season. If you are interested in partnering with current RWCHC families to make a difference, please message my by Friday, November 10th.
