What is the Second Street School PTSA? The Second Street School Parent Teacher Student Association (PTSA) is dedicated to providing a voice for every child. As a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization, we go beyond fundraising—we create meaningful opportunities for families to actively participate in their children's education and school life. Our efforts include organizing volunteers for events and ac

tivities that enrich students’ experiences, ensuring that every child has a happy and memorable school year. Throughout the year, we host special events like the Fall Festival, Roses for Days Sale, Field Day, and the River Rat Run, bringing our community closer together. The SSS PTSA is also committed to advocacy. Our quarterly meetings provide a safe space for families to ask questions, voice concerns, and engage with the school. We believe in the power of family involvement and work hard to make sure every voice is heard. We value you, your family, and your experiences, and we’re here to support you every step of the way!

Why does the PTSA raise money for copy paper?
Because when we raise the funds to provide the paper, Second Street School doesn’t have to use its own budgeted dollars to purchase it. That means those school funds can be used for other important needs that directly benefit our students! 💙🧡
