The Camp Barnes Stock Car Race is scheduled for July 31, 2026 at the Georgetown Speedway.

This year, Camp Barnes will honor Mr. Jim Weller. Mr. Weller is a long time business owner, and has been a friend and supporter of Camp Barnes and the Camp Barnes Benefit Stock Car Race for decades.

Mr. Weller will be honored at intermission during this years Camp Barnes Stock Car Race.

Please join us in congratulating Mr. Jim Weller as this years Camp Barnes Stock Car Race honorary recipient.

Camp Barnes Introduces Lottery System for Registration

Camp Barnes is excited to announce the opening of camper registration for the 2026 season, our 78th year of operation.

Over the past several years, we have seen extremely high demand, but due to limited weekly capacity, spots have historically filled within minutes of the application opening. To ensure every Delaware child has a fair and equal opportunity to attend Camp Barnes, enrollment is now determined by a lottery system.

Camp Barnes would like to thank everyone who made our 12th Annual Camp Barnes Wrestling Classic a success. Approximately 500 wrestlers competed from 8 different states.
Wrestlers, thank you for your hard work in the circle.
Parents/Coaches, thank you for your dedication to the sport of Wrestling and allowing your athlete to participate in our tournament.

We are excited to announce a partnership with ALL Delaware Texas Roadhouse locations to bring a Dine-To-Donate event to support Camp Barnes. Please join us on Thursday, October 9, 2025, from 3:00 PM to 9:30 PM at any Delaware location for dine-in or to-go and present this flyer.

Delaware State Police and Camp Barnes volunteers will be at each location to greet you and help serve you a delicious meal. We are extremely appreciative of this generous opportunity and hope to see you there!
