Saving Tails Animal Rescue & Outreach (STAR) is a non profit 501c3 comprised solely of volunteers dedicated to homeless, neglected, abused and chained animals. Our rescue mission is to heal, fix, microchip and find loving families for homeless animals. Our outreach mission is to educate owners of chained and neglected animals to improve their living conditions by providing supply assistance such a

s insulated dog houses, straw, quality food and vet care. We get dogs into kennels to free them from chains and we work to spay and neuter all the animals to break the cycle and where improvements cannot be made, we work towards a surrender to find a new home for that animal. We are working actively to improve local animal welfare laws and ordinances and we believe that burning both ends of the candle is the only way to accomplish our mission successfully. 🥹🐾 The smile on Diamond’s face says it all! 💕

This sweet girl absolutely LOVES when we come to visit! She knows that when the STAR crew pulls up, cuddles are sure to come her way. 🥰🐶

That big smile is exactly why we keep showing up for these amazing outreach dogs. They deserve to know they are loved, cared for, and never forgotten. ❤️

🌧️🐶 IT’S RAINING PUPPIES! 🐶🌧️

We have 21 puppies who are looking for foster homes! 😍🐾 These little ones are 5 and 6 weeks old and need loving foster families to help them grow, learn, and get ready for their forever homes. 🏡❤️

Fostering saves lives and gives these babies the safe, loving start they deserve! 🥹🐶

💚 THIS is why we do what we do. 🐾

Before: No straw. No food. No water. And the dog house was tipped over. 💔

After: The house is back in place, stuffed full of fresh straw. 🏠 The food bowl is full (for the time being 😉), the water bowl is full, and there’s even a delicious bone waiting for them! 🦴🐶

It may seem like something small, but to an outdoor dog, these things can make such a HUGE difference. This is exactly why we show up week after week for our outreach animals. ❤️

We can't save them all, but we can make sure the ones we reach have what they need to be safe, warm, fed, and loved.

🐾💕 Mochi, on the right, is still looking for her forever home! 🏡

This sweet girl is one smart pup! She already knows how to sit, is potty trained, crate trained, rides great in the car, and is really good at walking on a leash. 👏🐶

❤️🐾 The best feeling is looking down and seeing these dogs looking up at you with the biggest smiles.

Knowing they appreciate the love, care, food, and attention they receive from us makes every mile, every visit, and every ounce of hard work worth it. 🥹❤️

These dogs may live very different lives, but they all deserve to know they are loved and cared for. We are so grateful we get to be there for them. 🐶💕
