The Framingham Grows Food garden tour this past weekend gave us a chance to show off our new cattle panel arch trellises which are making a happy home for late season climbing pole beans. We installed them as part of a generous capacity building grant from the Middlesex Savings Charitable Foundation, designed to help us grow and donate more food to advance the cause of food security in our community Thank you Middlesex Savings Bank for believing in us! We look forward to sharing more of what we are doing with your support in the weeks and months ahead!

We are proud to support the food security efforts of MetroWest YMCA. These happy YMCA folks will quickly put 60 pounds of potatoes (freshly dug from our plots at Water View Terrace Apartments) to good use providing healthy meals to kids and families. We are grateful for their leadership to ease the burden of hunger in our community. ❤️

The great potato harvest of 2026, just in time to celebrate Urban Agriculture Week! The generous folks at Water View Terrace Apartments have provided space in their garden for Framingham Community Farm to grow potatoes this year. And what a productive partnership it has been! This dedicated crew worked hard this afternoon to dig and dig and dig until every last potato was harvested for donation to A Place To Turn Food Pantry and MetroWest YMCA. What a blessing for residents of a large apartment complex to have access to space to grow food, and what a gift that they so generously dedicate their time and space to support the cause of food security in Framingham. Hey Massachusetts Department of Agricultural Resources and City of Framingham- this is Urban Agriculture at its best!
