Alliance for Children will be holding a virtual information session for families interested in adoption. Join us to learn more about our adoption services, including the application process, home study, and our domestic and international adoption programs. The meeting is FREE, but you will need to register to attend. It will take place on August 12th, at 7:00 PM EST.

Alliance for Children is a fully licensed, Hague-accredited international adoption agency. We have been placing children internationally for over 50 years. Families living in any state may adopt through one of our international programs, and those who live in a state in which we are licensed may also have our agency complete the home study and post-placement reports.
We understand the international adoption process and strive to provide all of our families with one-on-one personal attention.

Waiting Child Program
In a traditional international adoption, children are matched with loving families as soon as they are available to be adopted. Waiting children are ready to be adopted now but there are no families to match them with. This can be due to the child’s special needs, age, or that they are part of a sibling group. Our agency receives the children’s information and is asked to help locate a family. We are committed to finding each child a loving, stable family equipped to meet their individual needs.

While a small part of the home study is designed to determine a family’s readiness for adoption, the majority (about 90%) of the home study process is about preparation, education, and determining the best fit between your family and an adopted child.

Hong Kong, located in Asia, is a Hague Convention country, and adoptions are overseen by Hong Kong’s central authority, the Director of Social Welfare.

Alliance For Children can facilitate adoptions from Hong Kong for families in 24 U.S. states. Alliance is licensed in Arkansas, Connecticut, Florida, Massachusetts, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island and Texas. We coordinate with partner agencies to serve families in California, Colorado, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Missouri, Nebraska, Oklahoma, Oregon, South Dakota, Washington and Wisconsin.
