OUT MetroWest

OUT MetroWest OUT MetroWest fosters communities where LGBTQ+ youth thrive. We serve youth from communities across eastern and central Massachusetts.

OUT MetroWest offers more than a dozen free meetings and events for LGBTQ+ youth and allies each month. Our programs are offered free of charge to participants and do not require referrals or advance sign-up. Contact us with questions or to learn more! OUT MetroWest recognizes the Nipmuc and Massachusett nations, on whose traditional lands we deliver our programs, and further acknowledges that LGBTQ+ liberation is not possible without Indigenous liberation.

YOU can create a universe where all LGBTQ+ youth belong🪐💫🌝✨🌈

In a world that too often tells LGBTQ+ youth to shrink, hide, or dim their light, here at OUT MetroWest, we remind them of a powerful truth: they have the right to thrive, and live radiant, joyful lives.

Every year, more than 375 q***r and trans young people from pre-k through age 29 find connection, safety, and joy at our FREE programs. Programs are facilitated by LGBTQ+ staff, who act as mentors and role models for youth, and range from serious conversations about politics and school policies, to light-hearted evenings of crafting and karaoke.

When asked why having a place like OUT MetroWest is important, one middle schooler answered: “Everyone deserves a safe space and people who understand them.”

We know the world around our youth is heavy with gravity. From harmful legislation on the state and national level, to everyday discrimination online and in school, LGBTQ+ youth encounter isolation, bullying, and rejection in their daily lives.

OUT MetroWest is here to counteract that weight—creating a universe where every q***r and trans young person knows they belong, and where their possibilities are as vast as the cosmos.

Your support fuels our mission. When you give to OUT MetroWest, you place tools, resources, and an affirming community in the hands of LGBTQ+ youth.
