Background
Since 1998, our foundation’s Mazie Mentoring Program has operated for students at Framingham (MA) High School. Starting in 2010, a second program has existed for students at Waltham (MA) High School. We strive to fulfill the legacy of John Andrew Mazie, who enjoyed helping young people before dying in a car accident. The program operates through the recruitment and training of adult volunteers to mentor and act as role models for high school students at-risk of not reaching their full potential. Its objective is to provide young people with the support to help them achieve their goals and succeed.
