It’s only $12.
That’s roughly what I’m paying extra per week at the pump right now. For me, it’s an annoyance. It might mean one less dinner out this month.

But for the clients walking through the doors of Daniel’s Table, $12 is the difference between fueling a car and fueling a family.
We are seeing a surge in calls. The anxiety in their voices is different this time. They aren’t just hungry; they are being crushed by the math of having to choose between fuel and food. When your budget has zero margin for error, an increase at the pump doesn’t just hurt—it breaks the bank.

Experts say gas prices will stay high until at least September. That means for the most vulnerable in our community, this crisis isn’t over; it’s just beginning.

We need those who have margin to help those who have none. Join us in turning our small annoyances into their survival.
