For a long time we fought to get our kids in school, while the district put others health ahead of our kids. We finally got them back into school. Masks were the way to get them back in person.

The risks to kids are extraordinarily low. Drs are calling for masks to be removed from kids, to let them be normal and grow.
It is time for FPS to put our kids first. Remove the mask.

To all of the parents who follow this page - there continues to be rumors of people in the district who want to return to remote learning. People who want to put our kids last again.
Despite state guidance, (and ignoring feasibility), these anti education zealots are still living in our school district and want to harm our kid's futures.

We will not allow that to happen, and you all should remain vigilant and attentive.

The school district has had more than 1 year to prepare for our kids. They can safely host our children every day. Any sub-standard ex*****on or examples of issues are either propaganda or issues for the district to correct.

Hybrid or remote learning will never be the answer, and we need to hold the district accountable to their plan for safe in person learning.

As many of you recall from last year, emails and calls matter. So speak your mind, if you assume you are represented you are mistaken. Your SC member just votes how they feel or with whoever is the most vocal.

If you learned anything from last year's school closing disaster, you should know that you must advocate for your kids. And don't stop. We didn't give up on opening schools, and those of you who want parent choice on masks will need to keep at it again.

Thank you to everyone who contributed to the opening of our schools. We believe we all had an impact and played a role with our emails to the state, city and school committee.

Lets all hope that we don't need this page to rally support again, but stay tuned for the summer and fall as undoubtedly the contract with the union and new rules in the fall may need our help.

The district continues to make noise about a measured return, we all hope the state says enough is enough. Charlie Baker Framingham was the poster child for your actions, you must not yield to their reluctance. They need to start planning the return not how to get out of the return.

This comes as teachers, staff and bus drivers race to get vaccinated against the coronavirus.

DESE closes out the biggest week in our kids lives for the last year with a massive vote for our kids.

Lets go FPS!!! So exciting. But - lets be a leader and bring all levels back. There is no reason for us to be the last again, lets be the first to bring back Grade School, Middle School and High School!!!

Exciting week coming to close, 1/2 our kids are back. Hopefully tomm. the state votes to open further.

Next Monday the other half walk through those doors.

A big thank you to all of the teachers who are supportive of opening and all the juggling they do to work out the kinks. Big thank you to the aides, people behind the scenes, administrators. We know many of you all along have been pulling for our kids.

Lets have a big day tomm., lets get our kids back full time and get them back in a position to catch up on the disaster of the last year.
