Every Tuesday in August and September 2026 from 6 PM to 8 PM, help clean up Frackville’s Lehigh Avenue.

😃 and positive attitudes to restore some dignity to our dirty downtown!

Instead of just talking about it let’s do something about it together.

🎓 Congratulations to Our 2026 Scholarship Recipients! 🎓

The Frackville Business & Professional Association is proud to award three $250 scholarships to outstanding students living in the 17931 zip code as they begin the next chapter of their educational journeys.

🌟 Vivian Miller will be attending Commonwealth University at Bloomsburg to study Biology.

🌟 Noah Klemer will also be attending Commonwealth University at Bloomsburg to study Accounting/Business.

🌟 Lauren Powis will be attending the United States Air Force Academy Prep School in Colorado Springs, Colorado to study Cyber Science.

We congratulate Vivian, Noah, and Lauren on their achievements and wish them continued success in their academic pursuits and future careers. Your hard work, dedication, and commitment have earned this recognition, and we are honored to support your educational goals.

WE did it!!!!

We would like to extend our deepest gratitude to everyone who helped make the fundraising campaign for Frackville’s new Christmas lights a tremendous success ❤️

A very special thank you goes to our MAJOR sponsor, whose incredibly generous donation of $15,000 provided a significant boost toward reaching our goal.

Thank you to EVERYONE who attended our fundraising events, responded to our fund drive requests, and made donations of any size. Every contribution played an important role in making this project possible.

We would also like to recognize Steve Kuzio (Frackville Councilman) and Mike Kiehl (Kiehl Excavating) for their assistance in transporting the new lights safely 🎄

Thank you to Jack Rich Inc.⁠ for housing the newly received lights for several days until safe storage and transport arrangements could be made.

We are also grateful to the Ackell family, who requested donations in memory of Robert J. Ackell. Their thoughtful gesture not only honored Robert’s memory but also contributed meaningfully to this community project.

Finally, we want to recognize all of the FBPA committee members who worked tirelessly behind the scenes organizing events, seeking donations, coordinating logistics, and dedicating countless hours to this effort. This small group has shown passion and commitment to our community to make this achievement possible.

Thank you to the Frackville Police Department for an EXCEPTIONAL job yesterday on Day 1 of the trial weekend of welcoming Famous Reading Outdoors riders to our borough! We received messages from several of our businesses with appreciation of the influx of business because of this event ❤️.
