Established in 1964, the Massachusetts Marine Trades Association is the statewide, representative body for recreational boating businesses in the Commonwealth. Our broad membership is comprised of boat builders, dealers, and brokers as well as marinas, boatyards, retailers, insurers and finance agents.

Happy Mass KIDS Boating and Fishing week. The MMTA is pleased to once again support and promote various youth boating and fishing events taking place over the next 9+ Days. The more youth we can introduce boating and fishing to today, the better off our industry will be in the future. Road trippin with the MMTA. 2026 Mass KIDS boating and fishing week kicked off early this year with today’s “Touch a Boat” event at Kingman Yacht Center. It was great to see participating MMTA members and additional boats and organizations including the , local Harbormaster boats and more. After the “Touch a Boat” event I headed to the graduation ceremony and launch event. Hopefully many of their graduates will work their way to Massachusetts as they start their careers in the industry. Congratulations to all of the class of 2026 graduates.
