Today was such a special day for Canine Classroom! πΎβ€οΈ Plus, we had some amazing visitors πΆ πΆ πΆ π
We had the honor of visiting the first graders at Warren JFK Lower Campus, and we were blown away by their kindness and enthusiasm. These amazing students collected an incredible amount of donations for the Trumbull County Dog Pound, along with a generous monetary contribution to support our program.
The students also colored sheets featuring dogs currently at the pound, helping bring attention to these sweet pups in hopes they will find loving forever homes. What a meaningful and creative way to make a difference!
During our visit, we talked about responsible pet ownership and how important it is to show kindness, patience, and care to all animals.
We were joined by some very special guests who each have their own adoption story:
πΆ P***y, adopted from the Trumbull County Dog Pound in 2014
πΆ Bambi, adopted from Animal Charity in 2016
πΆ Annie, adopted this year from the Animal Welfare League of Trumbull Countyβ¦ thanks to meeting her mom while she was out with us during a Canine Classroom event!
These dogs are living proof of the love and second chances adoption can bring.
Thank you to the wonderful students and staff at JFK Lower Campus for your generosity, compassion, and support. You are making a real difference in the lives of these dogs! ππ
