We need Volunteers to keep the Bark Park Clean!
An ongoing problem we have is people not picking up after their dogs. We currently have over 330 followers on our page, along with the many other hundreds of visitors we get.
If everyone of our followers would donate only 10 minutes out of the month to help keep the park p**p-free, that amounts to over 55 hours a month of addressing this problem!
While it may seem harmless, leaving dog waste unattended poses severe risks to our pets’ health and the community’s well-being. Dog f***s carry all sorts of diseases that affect your dog and can affect humans, too.
Dog p**p can contain worms and is one of the most easily spread problems for dogs. Along with worms, which are strictly dog-related issues, dog f***s also carry Giardia, Salmonella, E. Coli, and the ever-deadly Parvovirus. One gram of dog f***s contains about 23 million forms of bacteria, and other gross stuff can make you and your dog sick.
Also, flies consume dog p**p and lay eggs in the dog f***s. Then they find their way into your house and spread disease when they land on any food or countertop.
Any help you can provide to keep the park clean would be very much appreciated.
