Ray of Relief started as an idea in 2012 by Raymond Bensch. His idea was to travel the country helping others. This idea was not solid until early 2013 as national disasters were striking across the country, the idea grew into disaster relief. The idea of packing up supplies and people and bringing aid to those in need. To provide aid from the smallest disaster all the way up to the large
st disaster is just one of the many objectives. With lots of praying and God providing the path, Ray of Relief was born into existence. Striving to help others in need is the number one objective. The basic needs are water, food and clothing. There will be other needs that we may tackle and fulfill as the needs arise. Prompt action is always required in any disaster and Ray of Relief is proud to jump into any disaster relief project to help minimize damages and maximize comfort and confidence. Ray of Relief has to its disposal a 40 foot trailer that can transport equipment as well as supplies. This trailer is also equipped to sleep 12 volunteers in the event we need to transport volunteers to assist in any way. Personal disasters are also considered on a case by case basis. The personal disaster could be a home fire, loss of family members life, being a victim, flood, etc. Ray of Relief would work with those in need to assist in whatever way we are able to. Identify the need, meet the need.
