Private-Practice Flexibility + Nonprofit Mission
Are you an independently licensed Tennessee therapist who loves the autonomy of private practice but not the overhead and administrative work that comes with doing everything yourself?
Barefoot Republic Counseling & Coaching is growing, and we’re looking for a licensed mental health therapist to join our Christ-centered nonprofit counseling practice as a part-time 1099 contractor.
This could be an especially great fit for a clinician who has already started building a caseload or referral network and wants the flexibility of independent clinical work—with an established organization providing the infrastructure, community, and support.

✨ 60/40 split — clinicians receive 60% of collected professional fees

Our goal is simple: reduce the business and administrative burden so clinicians can spend more time doing what they were trained to do—caring for clients.
# # # Who we're looking for:
We're especially interested in a clinician who:
• Is independently licensed to practice psychotherapy in Tennessee
• Enjoys working with children, adolescents, and/or families
• Can offer consistent after-school and early-evening availability at least two days per week
• Has approximately 8–10 existing or developing clients, or an established referral network
• Values trauma-informed, relational, clinically sound care
• Appreciates professional autonomy while also valuing connection and collaboration
• Connects with Barefoot Republic’s Christ-centered mission and commitment to serving individuals and families across socioeconomic backgrounds
Experience or training in EMDR, Brainspotting, experiential therapy, play therapy, family systems, or other trauma-focused approaches is a plus.
Spanish-speaking/bilingual clinicians and clinicians from diverse backgrounds are especially encouraged to apply.
