Good morning folks It is scorching here in Arizona, and we have rescued a few people living in the desert! Jeff arrived with his little dog at the beginning of June and has proven to be a huge help fixing things around the house, we put one hand out to help and receive blessings with the other.
Another man with a dog and parrot was in the desert with no air-conditioning in his car. We found a place for him in Mesa, and waited for him to arrive, when I called, he told me a tire blew out on his trailer which he uses for his tools for work.
Then I was unable to reach him and after a few sleepless nights, he answered his phone, the heat was making it impossible for him to charge his phone.
A good Samaritan, a woman he had worked for before, had come to the rescue, giving him work and a place to stay.
Another man visits his wife in a nursing home many days of the week, he was living in a shelter on the west side of town and to get to Mesa where his wife is, he walks a mile, takes two buses and the mini rail to get there
He now lives in Mesa and gets a ride to see his wife most days.
It does not take much to help others, let us all try!
