Rescue Pals Rescue Pals is a Non Profit Organization. The founders are Christine Schaeken and Susan Dawson. They can be reached at RescuePals85268@gmail.

Thirteen years ago when Christine Schaeken and Susan Dawson were training for the Susan G. Komen Three Day Breast Cancer Walk, they developed a partnership with Pal’s Inn Pet Resort and began taking a few rescued canine friends with them on their hikes. It didn’t take us long to expand our efforts and subsequently establish Rescue Pals – A 501 (c) (3) non-profit, dog rescue and rehabilitation orga

nization. We were surprised to find such need for a dog rescue here in Fountain Hill, but the community has stepped up and supported our efforts at every turn, engaging and getting involved from the very beginning. For more info [email protected]

Yesterday afternoon, June 2, we took in this friendly, young dog.
He was at Ft. McDowell doggie jail for a while and when they reached out to us, we had to say yes, especially with the current and upcoming temperatures.
He will have his first vet visit with Dr. Hoban at Friendship Pet Hospital on Friday.
We are calling him Red because of his beautiful color

Yesterday this 5 month old puppy was owner surrendered to us. Her name is Sophia.
She is up to date on her vaccines but is too young to be spayed yet. We are looking for a new home for her with owners who are familiar with the breed and who are willing to invest in training her.
She is smart and loving, curious with puppy enthusiasm and is learning how to walk nice on her leash. She also still needs to grow into her ears ☺️

Volunteer Mary here… I have resigned from Rescue Pals effective this past Sunday, so regretfully I will no longer be making posts here.

I sincerely hope another volunteer will step up soon to help keep this page active. It’s all about the dogs, and Rescue Pals does a wonderful job with their daily care. The next important piece is getting these dogs placed into loving homes as quickly as possible, and this page, especially in the last 9 months or so, has greatly helped reduce the amount of time dogs wait. Your support here has helped push our posts farther across Facebook, and that truly makes a difference.

Thank you all so much for your support of the dogs under Rescue Pals. A special shout-out to the many unseen volunteers — you are awesome and I deeply appreciate you. My own dog came from Rescue Pals!

To the other two administrators here, I again ask that you please remove me from my administrative role on this page.

Thank you again, and please continue supporting these deserving dogs.
