What does it look like to invest in the future of Fountain Hills? It looks like a safe place to play, a quiet place to study, and a supportive community to grow up in.

The Boys & Girls Club of Greater Scottsdale (McKee Branch) is a cornerstone for our local families. Foundation grants helps ensure that every child in the program has access to the mentorship and programming they need to thrive.

We believe that when we support our youth today, we are building a stronger, more resilient community for tomorrow.

The Fountain Hills Community Foundation is incredibly grateful to Kathleen Dietz and Joe Monello, Jr. for their generous gift. The couple recently donated $15,500 in Kathy's name to our Flynn Society group.

We are deeply moved by their philanthropic leadership, which serves as a beautiful reminder of how much we can achieve when we invest in our community together.

Please join us in giving Kathleen and Joe a huge 'thank you' in the comments for their incredible dedication to our town!

In a community like Fountain Hills, our senior citizens aren't just residents—they are the keepers of our history and the vibrance of our daily life. Providing top-tier programming for them takes more than just passion; it takes resources.

That’s why the Foundation is so committed to our partnership with Encore for More. By helping to bridge the gap in fundraising, our grants allow the experts at Encore to focus on what they do best: creating meaningful, world-class experiences and services for our seniors. When we handle a piece of the "how," they can focus entirely on the "who."

Take a look back at this conversation with two of Encore for More's board members on how your donations are directly impacting the lives of our senior community.

Significant milestones—weddings, golden anniversaries, graduations—are about more than just the day; they are about the community that helped you get there.

Our Meaningful Milestones program allows you to share that feeling of community with your guests. By suggesting a donation to the Foundation in lieu of traditional gifts, you’re introducing your friends and family to the impact of local giving. Plus, as a 501(c)3, these gifts are tax-deductible, making it a win for your guests and a win for the Fountain Hills non-profits we support.

Make your milestone meaningful. Learn more on our blog: https://fountainhillsgives.com/share-the-joy-of-giving-with-meaningful-milestones/

For Hometown Hero Tammy Bell, community service isn't just about data and boards—it’s about the conversations happening around the dinner table.

As the Executive Director of the Protect Our Youth - Fountain Hills Coalition, Tammy is on a mission to build a "cohesive support system" for our town’s next generation. From the "Falcon PROMise" to delivering pizzas for Family Dinner Night, her work is changing the culture for our kids, one pledge and one conversation at a time.

We are so proud to support the Coalition’s long-term impact through FHCF grants... and grateful that someone like Tammy is so passionate about Fountain Hills families.

While the end of the year often brings a surge in giving, many of our neighbors are shifting toward a more consistent, year-round way to support our town.

Now that the 2025 tax season is in the rear view mirror, it’s the perfect time to look at how a monthly partnership can simplify your own planning while providing a reliable backbone for the local causes you care about.

This blog post explains how you can take the next step: https://fountainhillsgives.com/a-steady-pulse-the-impact-of-sustained-giving/

The Fountain Hills Community Foundation is pleased to announce a $600 grant award to the Protect Our Youth - Fountain Hills Coalition. This funding was made possible through the generosity of our community during the Luminarias in the Garden fundraiser this past holiday season.

The Protect Our Youth Coalition is dedicated to promoting a healthy and drug-free environment for the students of Fountain Hills through education, outreach, and collaborative programs. Their work is a vital component of the community-wide effort to support student wellness.

On Memorial Day, we pause to honor the men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice in service to our nation. Their courage is the foundation of the freedoms we enjoy today, and at the Fountain Hills Community Foundation, we believe the highest tribute we can pay is to support the legacy of service that continues within our own community.

Our commitment to this spirit of service is reflected in our support for organizations like Bishop's Mission, which provides critical support to first responders and their canines, and the MCSO Jeep Posse, whose members volunteer their time and resources to keep our residents safe.

Many of those who serve in these organizations—and across our local first responder agencies—carried the values of their military service back home to Fountain Hills. By awarding grants to these organizations, the Foundation honors the memory of the fallen by investing in the safety and well-being of the neighbors they fought to protect.

Today, we remember the fallen, and we express our deepest gratitude to the families and organizations that carry the torch of service forward.
