At the Fountain Hills Toastmasters Club, consistency is key and practice makes perfect! Congratulations to all our members and guests who took home ribbons over the past few months. These awards represent their skills at our weekly meetings as Best Speaker, Best Evaluator, and Best Table Topics, plus their progress through the Toastmasters Pathways program levels and serving in different meeting roles!

Huge congratulations to our very own Kathy Koultourides, who won third place in the Toastmasters International Speech District Contest on April 25! We're speechless! (No, not really, but we are incredibly proud!) Congratulations to our accomplished Fountain Hills Toastmasters, Valerie Krugh and Kathy Koultourides, who both competed in the Phoenix Division Contest on March 28. Valerie gave a wonderful speech in the Tall Tales category, and Kathy went on to take first place in the International Speech category! Kathy will now advance to compete on April 25 in the District Contest to represent our award-winning club!

Join the Fountain Hills Toastmasters Club for our third fun, interactive, and informative open house session to develop effective communication skills for both professional and everyday settings. Attendance is free, registration is not required, and guests are welcome!

April 1 is about “The Art of Speaking without Panic.” Attendees will find out how to overcome nerves and self-doubt not by being fearless, but by being prepared and building skills one step at a time.

The meeting will include interactive mini-exercises, fun speaking prompts, and informal conversation to ask and answer questions about Toastmasters. The session will begin at 6:30 PM and is expected to last 60 to 75 minutes, held in the upstairs conference room at the Fountain Hills Chamber of Commerce, 16837 E. Palisades Boulevard in Fountain Hills. Come a few minutes early to get acquainted!

Each of our three open house meetings will include interactive mini-exercises, fun speaking prompts, and informal conversation to ask and answer questions about Toastmasters. Attendees can opt to attend any or all of the sessions, which will begin at 6:30 PM and are expected to last 60 to 75 minutes each.
