MEMORY WEAVER, WENDY MACDONALD Bio:
Meet Wendy, an Arizona enthusiast whose heart has always
belonged to the desert. A 40-year resident of Indiana, her
dream was to return to Arizona, “where the sun shines 90%
of the time and the warmth feels like medicine.” Leaving
behind her grown children ,10 grandchildren and a small Indiana Ranch
was difficult, but guided by the Lord, Wendy made the
move to the Valley to expand her balance and purpose. Once
she discovered Reigning Grace Ranch (RGR) in Rio Verde,
volunteering became a transformative journey. For over
three years, Wendy has served in many roles at RGR, from
mucking stalls, caring for critters in “Critter Corner,” mentoring and
leading an evening supplement team and becoming part of The
Chapel Christian fellowship.
“I have found my life’s calling in serving/giving and experience a profound balance
and peace when I’m interacting with the herd. The horses at RGR
have filled an unexplainable void in my heart,They provide me
with stories I will never forget.”
I create/design Memory keepsakes from the manes and tales of 4 legged counselors that once called Reigning Grace Ranch home. Forever honoring them. I feel honored and empowered to
pay it forward by sharing this creative way to to keep a piece of
their spirit alive even after they move on from this earth. They are
truly angels with tales of love forever woven in our hearts.”
