Homebuyer Qualification packets are due Friday, December 12 by 5 p.m. to the Fostoria Learning Center. If you meet the income limits, and are interested in one of the new homes, apply! Remember, only qualified buyers will be able to participate in the offer process and the offer process will dictate the price of each home. This means the sale price of the home will be in the affordability range of those who have been prequalified and are invited to the offer process. Five brand-new, 3-bed/2-bath homes are available through the Welcome Home Ohio Program — but only pre-qualified applicants will be invited to participate in the offer process.
✔️ Pre-qualification is required
Applicants must submit:
• A bank or mortgage pre-approval letter
• Proof of household income at or below 80% AMI
• All forms included in the Welcome Home Ohio application packet
Once pre-qualified, buyers will determine the final purchase price of each home through their offers.
Local partner banks (Sutton Bank, Old Fort Bank, Croghan Colonial Bank, and WesBanco) are available to help eligible buyers with low- or no-down-payment options, low-interest loans, and down-payment assistance. Mortgage pre-approval may be obtained from any bank or lending institution.
