What an amazing turnout at the Wood County Plays ribbon cutting yesterday for Fostoria's new inclusive playground. You could feel pure JOY in the air. So grateful for this organization's volunteer board who has worked tirelessly over the last few years to fundraise, plan, work with contractors and vendors and recruit community members to assist with the build. We are proud of this beautiful new recreation area for children of all abilities that will be enjoyed by our residents and visitors for years to come.

FOSTORIA Inclusive Playground is now OPEN! 📣

I’m so incredibly proud of our team and this community. Look at the turnout!!

I will post more pictures down below of the grand opening! THANK YOU to everyone who helped make this happen.

I was happy to meet the first recipients of the Richard W. Norton, Jr. Scholarship awards, also marking the first scholarships awarded from a Greater Fostoria Community Foundation fund. Their future is bright and we are proud to see them both start the next step on their educational journey!

So excited to see a project supported by the Greater Fostoria Community Foundation come to life.

Let's Play Fostoria!

We're ready to cut the ribbon and get this inclusive playground open! It will happen June 25th at 4pm. We hope to see you there!

We invite everyone to join us for the ribbon cutting ceremony and help celebrate this incredible addition to our community. Whether you donated, volunteered, sponsored, or simply cheered us on along the way, this playground belongs to all of us.

The smiles, friendships, and memories created here will last for generations.

We can't wait to see you there! 💙
