Clean Line Blacktop finishes up painting the blue playing surface on the Buckley Street tennis courts today, and will be back tomorrow to paint the white tennis and yellow pickleball court lines tomorrow.

Anyone interested in learning to play or getting any tips for the sport, there will be a pickleball clinic put on Saturday, August 10 from 10 am to 11 am. This will include instructions on rules, tips on effective play, and an opportunity for hands on participation under the tutelage of George Graber, a 1969 FHS graduate who will be in town for the weekend to attend the class 50th reunion. George is the current vice president of the Daytona Pickleball association in Florida, where he has competed in numerous tournaments and is ranked in the state.

This session is open to the public and anyone who is in town for the FHS class of 1969 50th reunion is also invited to come and just hang out (maybe play some pickleball, if so inclined) before the Saturday night extravaganza. Hope to see lots of people there!

Clean-Line Blacktop Sealing & Striping power washing the Buckley St. tennis courts in preparation for a new paint job and fresh lines for tennis AND pickleball. A pickleball clinic will be held for the public Saturday, August 10 from 10 am - 12 pm. Rules of the game will be discussed along with demonstrations and a chance to get some hands on playing time.

We just want to give a resounding thanks to Daryle, Ethan, and their crew at Clear Choice Windows for interrupting their busy schedule and donating their time to get a big chunk of the work done on the shelter house roof today. They will be there finishing it up tomorrow along with a group of volunteers to paint, spread mulch, and spruce the place up. Thanks for the great job, guys!
