Big things are happening at the MESA District 6600 Warehouse!

Our recent warehouse upgrades are making a tremendous impact! With the installation of new racking systems, we've significantly increased our storage capacity, allowing us to better organize supplies and respond more efficiently to the needs of our communities.

We were also pleased to welcome Scott Johnson from the Kenton Rotary Club for a tour of the upgraded facility. During his visit, we discussed opportunities to partner on upcoming Rotary Days of Service and explored additional ways we can work together to serve our region.

Thank you, Scott, for taking the time to visit. We look forward to building a strong partnership with the Kenton Rotary Club and making an even greater impact together!

🚴‍♂️🏁 Finish Line Reached: Ottawa to Findlay 🏁🚴‍♀️
What a perfect ending to an incredible week on the road!

The final day of the Rotary Tour for MESA welcomed riders with sunshine, cool temperatures, and beautiful Ohio countryside. After a wonderful breakfast in Ottawa, the team set out for Findlay, making memories along the way—including a special ice cream stop at Knueven Creamery & Market and plenty of laughs, fellowship, and teamwork.

As the riders rolled into Findlay, the celebration wasn't just about crossing the finish line—it was about the impact made through MESA's mission of delivering lifesaving medical equipment and supplies around the world.

From kidney dialysis machines in Nigeria to wheelchairs in Mexico, computers in Belize, and medical aid in Ukraine, every mile ridden helps improve lives across the globe.

Thank you to the Rotary clubs, sponsors, supporters, and everyone who followed our journey

Together, we're making a difference one mile at a time.

❤️🚴‍♂️ Until next year!

Day 4: Van Wert → Delphos → Ottawa 🚴‍♀️

After battling the elements yesterday, today rewarded our riders with perfect cycling weather—clear skies, calm winds, and miles of beautiful Northwest Ohio scenery.

The day began with a wonderful breakfast hosted by the Van Wert Rotary Club before riders hit the road and enjoyed some of the smoothest cycling conditions of the Tour. A warm welcome and lunch awaited in Delphos, where Rotary members showcased the incredible impact their club has on the community. The journey continued to Ottawa, where riders were greeted with outstanding hospitality from the Ottawa-Glandorf Rotary Club and treated to a memorable evening of fellowship and support.

Along the way, riders shared stories about why they participate in the Tour, with friendship, service, and saving lives through MESA consistently topping the list.

A special thank you to the Van Wert, Delphos, and Ottawa-Glandorf Rotary Clubs for their generosity, encouragement, and commitment to making a difference around the world. Together, we're having fun, building connections, and helping save lives—one mile at a time.

🚴‍♂️ Day 3 of the MESA Bike Tour was a great success despite a rainy start to the day!

Riders began their morning with breakfast at the Maria Stein Spiritual Center, which graciously provided overnight accommodations. They then made a stop at the New Bremen Bicycle Museum to learn about the rich history of cycling and the bicycle industry that helped shape the community.

From there, the group continued their journey to Celina, where members of the Celina Rotary Club welcomed them with a delicious buffet lunch. Following a brief roundtable discussion to learn more about the club and its community impact, the riders were back on the road headed for Van Wert.

The day concluded with a warm welcome from the Van Wert Rotary Club, which provided a wonderful evening meal and overnight accommodations for the riders.

A heartfelt thank you to all of the organizations, volunteers, and community partners whose hospitality continues to make this tour a memorable experience for everyone involved

2026 Rotary Tour for MESA, Day 1-Saturday, June 20th : 58 miles, 4 amazing host clubs, and one very windy stretch into Rotary Club of Lima.
Thank you to Findlay Noon, Findlay Flag City, Ada, and Lima Rotary clubs for the hospitality for our 17 riders and 2 drivers— including Dietsch Brothers ice cream from Findlay and a surprise concert band performance in Lima!
Today's clubs also shared the impressive work they're doing in support of MESA. This year alone, Lima Rotary filled 5 truckloads with medical equipment from hospitals and nursing homes that would otherwise have been junkyard-bound — equipment MESA is now redirecting to communities in need around the world.

Have you heard of MESA?
Medical Equipment and Supplies Abroad is a Rotary District 6600 program that's unique to northwest and north central Ohio — and it's been quietly changing lives around the world for decades.
MESA collects used medical equipment from our local communities and coordinates its shipment to people around the world who need it most. Wheelchairs, crutches, walkers — equipment that still has years of life left, getting a second chance in the hands of someone who truly needs it.
Every year, MESA is promoted through a multiday bike ride. This year, we’re adding a new element! On June 19th, the MESA 50 Single Day ride helps fund and raise awareness for this one-of-a-kind mission. Choose your distance — 25 or 50 miles — and be part of something bigger.
