🎶✨ A Great Night in Downtown Fostoria! ✨🎶

I had the chance to go see the Skittle Bots at The UrbanWoody Brewery stage this Saturday, and it was an awesome time! The band brought so much energy, and the crowd was really into it. It’s great seeing events like this happening right here in our community.

Big thank you to Superior Credit Union and ProMedica Fostoria Community Hospital for sponsoring and making this concert free for everyone to enjoy. 👏

Events like these show how special downtown Fostoria is becoming — good music, local businesses, and neighbors coming together. Can’t wait to see more nights like this!

🚨 Introducing The Fostorian: A Newspaper for Fostoria & the Tri-County Area! 🚨
🗞️ First Edition — July 20, 2025

The Fostorian is a brand-new newspaper and community newsletter created right here in Fostoria, Ohio to help keep people informed about what’s happening in Fostoria and the surrounding Tri-County area (Seneca, Hancock, and Wood Counties).

➡️ This is my very first issue, so be gentle!
The goal is to bring you updates on:
✅ City council news
✅ Community events
✅ Arts & history
✅ Health & education
✅ Technology & business
✅ Family activities and more

We’re aiming to release a new edition every Sunday to help keep everyone better connected to what’s happening in our hometown and beyond.

Vietnam Eyes of Freedom Traveling Memorial

🏍️ Escorted by veterans, law enforcement, and dozens of local riders
🌳 Greeted with gratitude by the Fostoria community

This nationally touring memorial is here for one day only—don’t miss this opportunity to honor and reflect on the lives of our fallen heroes.

🎉 Juneteenth Jamboree of Greater Fostoria – A Celebration to Remember! 🎶
(June 14, 2025)

Fostoria showed up and showed OUT! From the powerful keynote to the soul-stirring gospel and the vibrant rhythms of traditional African music, this year’s Juneteenth celebration was filled with heart, heritage, and community. 🖤💚❤️

We had it all:
🎤 Nikki D & The Sisters of Thunder
🪘 Djohi African Ensemble
🍖 Best Slab of Ribs contest
🎨 Face painting, book giveaways, food trucks, bounce houses, and local vendors
🗣️ Messages that celebrated our past, uplifted our present, and inspired our future

What moved me most was the passion – for culture, for history, and for Fostoria. Seeing people gather, share stories, and celebrate freedom together was incredibly meaningful. I’m proud to be part of this.
