Celebrating Japanese Heritage Night at Oracle Park ⚾️

On Friday, May 22, members of the Japanese Chamber of Commerce of Northern California (JCCNC) came together to enjoy and support the San Francisco Giants at Japanese Heritage Night.
This special event brought together baseball, culture, and community, celebrating the vibrant traditions and enduring spirit of the Japanese community in the Bay Area.
It was wonderful to see so many community members gather to cheer on the Giants and experience a meaningful evening that highlights the strong connection between Japan and the Bay Area.
Adding to the excitement, the Chicago White Sox featured Japanese star Munetaka Murakami, who stepped up to bat during the game—making the night even more special for Japanese baseball fans.
Thank you to everyone who joined and made it such a memorable evening. We look forward to continuing to foster connections and celebrate our community through events like this.

【JCCNC Early Summer Networking Party – A Great Success! 🌮】

先日開催された「JCCNC 初夏ネットワーキングパーティー 🌵 Mexican Night!」は、60名以上の参加者という大盛況のうちに無事終了いたしました。

本イベントでは、メキシコ料理やテキーラを楽しみながら、日系企業の皆様を中心に、業界・職種を超えた活発な交流が行われました。終始リラックスした雰囲気の中で、多くの新たなつながりや有意義な対話が生まれたことを大変嬉しく思います。
また、今回のイベントに向けて、事前準備・企画・当日の運営に尽力いただいたネットワーキング委員会に、心より御礼申し上げます。

【JCCNC Early Summer Networking Party – A Great Success! 🌮】

We are pleased to share that the JCCNC Early Summer Networking Party (Mexican Night!) was successfully held with a full house of 60 attendees.

The event provided a fantastic opportunity for professionals across industries to connect in a relaxed and lively atmosphere, while enjoying authentic Mexican food and drinks. It was truly inspiring to see meaningful conversations and new connections being formed throughout the evening.

We would like to extend our sincere appreciation to everyone who attended and supported this event.

JJCCNC sincerely thanks everyone who participated in the Colma Cemetery Cleanup volunteer activity organized by The Center, in coordination with The Consulate General of Japan, Mita Kai, and the other organizations on May 16, 2026. We are deeply grateful for the dedication and community spirit demonstrated by all volunteers who contributed their time and effort to help preserve an important part of Japanese American history and heritage.
Through the collective support of participants, the cleanup was a meaningful success and reflected the strong commitment of our community to honoring and maintaining these historical sites for future generations.
Now, it's ready for the Memorial Day Service held on May 25.

🌸 JCCNC at the Northern California Cherry Blossom Grand Parade 🌸

On April 19, JCCNC proudly participated in the Northern California Cherry Blossom Grand Parade with nearly 80 JCCNC members, marching alongside their families and community partners in one of the Bay Area’s most iconic spring celebrations.
Walking together through downtown San Francisco, we were honored to represent JCCNC and celebrate Japanese culture, community, and connection with tens of thousands of spectators along the parade route. The strong turnout and unity of our members made JCCNC’s presence highly visible and impactful throughout the event.
We extend our sincere thanks to all participants, including those who traveled from afar to take part in the parade. Your enthusiasm and commitment truly strengthened our community spirit.
We would also like to express our deep appreciation to Mr. Hanzawa of Chuzai Support for generously providing the truck carrying the JCCNC President, which significantly elevated JCCNC’s visibility and presence during the parade.
Finally, thank you to the Cherry Blossom Parade organizing team and our dedicated JCCNC parade team for their leadership and coordination in making this celebration such a success.
JCCNC is proud to be part of this cherished community tradition and looks forward to continuing to build strong connections between Japan and the Bay Area.

74th JCCNC Annual General Meeting & Board of Directors Meeting

On March 26, 2026, JCCNC successfully hosted its 74th Annual General Meeting, followed by the Board of Directors Meeting, in a hybrid format at Morrison Foerster (M**O), Palo Alto, and via Zoom.
It was a meaningful evening bringing together our members, leadership, and honored guests to reflect on the past year, recognize outstanding contributions, and set the course for the year ahead.

We extend our sincere appreciation to all participants, committee chairs, board members, and staff for their dedication and continued commitment to JCCNC’s mission of strengthening U.S.–Japan business and community ties.
