Auditions for our July musical for grades 3-6 are tomorrow at 3PM at the theater at the Aurora Center for the Arts.

Kids should have a song prepared to sing on stage. It is low key. Kirby just wants to know how comfortable they are on stage and what they sound like. Kids should also bring their list of conflicts for June 29-Aug 1.

Call for Artists! We have an unexpected opening for our gallery exhibit now through mid-June and are seeking local artists to participate in a replacement exhibit. Open to incoming 3rd–6th graders (Fall 2026)

Tryouts: Sunday, May 17 - 3pm
Practices: M–Th, 3:00–5:30 PM in July
Shows: July 30–August 1

A big thank you to DeeDee Narum Mosaic Studio for bringing the magic of mosaics to Fosston. This was a wonderful experience for all involved! So thankful for grants that allow these types of classes in our area! Dee Dees Mosaics will be on display for one more week at the Sorenson Gallery- be sure to stop by during Library hours to check it out!

The Sorenson Gallery adjacent to the library will be closed Wednesday March 18th through Saturday March 21st to receive a fresh coat of paint. The current traveling exhibit will be back on display next week and will close Friday March 27th. Be sure to stop in next week before it is gone!

Join Heidi Danos for a hands-on, sculptural art experience! Students will create their own abstract 3-dimensional form using simple materials and bold color. This class encourages creativity, experimentation, and play as young artists explore shape, balance, texture, and paint.
No two sculptures will look alike — each piece will be completely unique. Be prepared for a little mess and a lot of fun!
All materials provided.
Held in the Aurora Center basement studio space.

Kathy Sanders is here setting up for her Micro Mosaic Pendant Class- it is going to be so much fun! She has two openings left so if you would like to join in the fun, head down to the basement at the Aurora Center for the Arts in Fosston! Cost is $40 and the class will begin at 10:00am.
