Vacation Bible School is back at New Journey Church!

This summer, we are hosting the "God Always Wins" VBS for any area children who wish to attend. There will be lots of fun crafts, games, and activities, as well as excellent biblical teaching on the Greatness of God.

Good morning church family,

Due to the current weather conditions, and future weather conditions, we are cancelling our Worship Gathering for this morning, January 18th.
Please stay home, stay safe, and spend some time in Family Worship together.

Here are some helpful thoughts when considering how to engage in Family Worship:

1. Sing Together
2. Read and Study Together
3. Pray Together

1. Do a simple google search for a theologically rich hymn that you know well
2. The Psalms are a great place to look and study together as a family - they are accessible, relatable, and point to God.
My (John) family will be looking at Psalm 92 this morning, and I invite you to join us in looking at the same one!
3. We will pray together, using the ACTS acronym:
- Adoration
- Confession
- Thanksgiving
- Supplication.

I pray this time together nourishes your soul this morning as you together Worship our God.

On behalf of our Elders the January Members Meeting, scheduled for tomorrow following the Worship Gathering, has been postponed to next Sunday, January 25th. This is due to the high likelihood of very poor travel conditions as the day progresses tomorrow.

At this time our Sunday School and Worship Gathering is still on for tomorrow, but our church leadership is paying close attention to the weather and we will communicate in a timely fashion tomorrow morning with clarity either way.

With the closure of Fosston Public Schools for today, December 10th, AWANA is cancelled for tonight as well.
AWANA will resume next Wednesday, December 17th.
