Do you have Mt. Comfort Elementary School spirit wear tucked away in a closet that your kids have outgrown—or that you simply no longer need? Don’t let it collect dust! 👕💛🖤

Mt. Comfort Elementary PTO is collecting gently used spirit wear for an upcoming resale event. If you have shirts, sweatshirts, jackets, or other MCE gear you’d like to donate, they would gladly take it off your hands!

Our staff works hard all day—and apparently that makes people hungry. 😂 Help the MVIS PTO keep the staff lounge stocked with snacks, drinks, candy, and grab-and-go goodies!

🌟Mt Vernon Intermediate School PTO is lucky to have two truly amazing presidents! 🌟

Liz VanLandingham Hoffman and Amber Leigh Liles do a phenomenal job leading our PTO with so much energy, dedication, and heart. They give countless hours of their time, keep everything moving behind the scenes, and are always ready to support our students, staff, and families.

We are incredibly grateful for their leadership and everything they do to make MVIS an even better place. We truly couldn’t do it without them! 💛🖤

📣 Calling all fifth graders interested in wrestling!

In-person registration sessions for the Mount Vernon Marauders Wrestling Club begin next week! The club is open to all boys and girls kindergarten through fifth grade— no previous wrestling experience is needed!

📍 Mount Vernon High School Gymnasium Lobby
📅 August 26, September 1 or September 2
⏰ 6:00–7:00 PM

You only need to attend ONE registration session.

Currently playing another sport? Go ahead and register! You’re welcome to attend practices whenever your schedule allows or wait to join us once your current season ends.

Our MVIS staff works hard every day to support, encourage, and care for our students. Let’s show them how much we appreciate everything they do by helping keep their staff lounge stocked with snacks, drinks, and grab-and-go favorites!

We’ve created an Amazon wishlist filled with items our staff can enjoy throughout the school year. Purchase one item or several—every contribution helps and is greatly appreciated!

Come to the PTO meeting—we promise we won’t make you become president just because you accidentally made eye contact. 😂

You also won’t be required to volunteer for every event, bake 400 cookies, or demonstrate an unusual level of enthusiasm for fundraising. We simply want parents to join us, hear what’s planned, share ideas, and help us make this a great year for our students! 🖤💛
