The Hancock County Business and Professional Women’s Club recently presented their 2024 Outstanding Working Woman’s Award to Keely Butrum!! Keely was nominated by Linda Ostewig, Director of the Talitha Koum Recovery House.
Linda stated in her nomination that Keely, who currently serves as the Board President of TK, is passionate about seeing the women grow and learn how to live sober. Keeley also is on the advisory board for the Recovery Café. She is generous to so many non-profits in our community and organized a music event, Revel for a Cause, and donated the proceeds to local nonprofits.
Our club agrees that Keely Butrum is a "world changer" and the perfect recipient for this award. CONGRATULATIONS, KEELY!!

Welcome DeAnn Harmon!
She grew up on a family farm in Sunman. Which she still owns part of today. She was an athlete in high school playing three sports and earning 11 varsity letters. Then ventured to college on a basketball scholarship. She earned membership of the Ripley county basketball Hall of Fame and East Central high school athletic Hall of Fame. DeAnn has a beautiful daughter, two granddaughters and a grandson who are her life. In her career, she has done many things from pumping gas at a gas station at the age of 12 to teaching for 13 years, office manager, new business trainer and quality assurance analyst. Her family recently moved to Fishers and then moved to Hancock County about six months ago. DeAnn retired June 1, 2024 from global Atlantic financial group. She just returned from a trip up through New England and Canada and plans on going out west in the spring.
