Our first Skate Party of the school year is officially in the books! 🎉

We want to know… did your kids have a blast?! Did they show off their skating skills, hang with their friends, dance to the music, or maybe spend more time trying NOT to fall? 😂

Our FES Walk-a-Thon is officially underway, and we’re making it even easier for friends and family to support our Vikings! 💛🖤

We now have TWO easy ways to donate:

🚨 WALK-A-THON IS HERE, FES! 🚨

It’s officially time to get those walking shoes ready! 👟 Packets should be coming home this week, so check those book bags! 💛🎒🖤

Our 2026 Walk-a-thon is coming up on Friday, September 25th, and we are SO excited! This is our biggest fundraiser of the year, and the best part? 100% of the money raised comes right back to Fortville Elementary to support our students, teachers, classrooms, and school programs! 🙌

💰 Our school goal is $30,000!
👟 Every student can make a difference!
🎉 There are TONS of fun prizes and class incentives!
🪑 We will be adding TWO picnic tables outside for students this year!
🐷 And if we hit that $30K goal… Dr. Edwards will be kissing a pig! 🤩

And have you seen our new FUN Walk-a-thon sign out front?! 👀🎉

We’ll be updating it as our classes start bringing in donations, so be sure to check it out each time you’re at school and watch that thermometer climb! 🌡️

Happy Tuesday FES!

We just wanted to give a HUGE thank you to all of you that attended Pizza with Pals! 🍕🍕

We have some amazing FES families and are so grateful you chose to spend a part of your evening with us 💛🖤

The weather was perfect, pizza was hot, and tummies were full! We hope you all had as much fun as we did!

🎉 Another shoutout to our amazing parent volunteers. We truly can’t run any of our events without the help of you all! We appreciate you more than you know!

📣 Calling all fifth graders interested in wrestling!

In-person registration sessions for the Mount Vernon Marauders Wrestling Club begin next week! The club is open to all boys and girls kindergarten through fifth grade— no previous wrestling experience is needed!

📍 Mount Vernon High School Gymnasium Lobby
📅 August 26, September 1 or September 2
⏰ 6:00–7:00 PM

You only need to attend ONE registration session.

Currently playing another sport? Go ahead and register! You’re welcome to attend practices whenever your schedule allows or wait to join us once your current season ends.
