Great tour today in Eureka at the Pinc Lady Inn. Mario, the owner's son, gave us a fabulous explanation of all the painting that he is doing and why he's using these colors. Jacqueline, the owner, gave a really interesting tour of the inside...telling us about the chandeliers and their significance. Also, about what she's done and what she is going to do, including a restaurant and garden wedding venue. She's had the place for about 5 or 6 years. After the tour and lunch on our own was a ride on the Madeket around Humboldt Bay.

Fortuna Garden Club members were working on their flowerbed corners this morning in anticipation of City of Fortuna workers bringing mulch. Every corner has different members taking care of it and doing the plantings. We want the flower beds to look nice for the rodeo and the Autorama coming up this month.
