Every ticket sold helps support the Fortuna Veterans Memorial Building—the home of the Walker Bailey American Legion, American Legion Auxiliary, and VFW Post 2207. The building also serves as a gathering place for numerous community organizations, private events, and activities throughout the year.

Another one of our Major Projects- Bill Hummel Memorial Marquee
The Fortuna Rotary was proud to be one of four local organizations that helped make the Bill Hummel Memorial Marquee project possible, and we were honored to provide a significant financial contribution to help get the project off the ground.

Bill Hummel was a veteran, a respected member of our community, and truly an amazing human being. We are grateful to support a project that benefits the entire community at the Fortuna Veterans Memorial Building.

The Veterans Memorial Building serves as a hub for veterans organizations, community gatherings, and as a designated emergency shelter for our area. This project is a great example of what can happen when local organizations come together in service of the community.

Memorial Day is not just a day away from work. It is a day of remembrance for the brave men and women who gave their lives in service to our country.
While many gather with family and friends, we pause to honor the fallen and the families who carry their memory every day. Their sacrifice is the reason we have the freedoms we enjoy today.

We remember. We honor. We will never forget.

A huge thank you to Justin Zabel of Mercer-Fraser for his generous donation of a brand new extra-large American flag for the Fortuna Veterans Memorial Building 🇺🇸
Just in time for Memorial Day, this beautiful flag now proudly flies above the hall as a tribute to the men and women who served our country. Your support and patriotism are truly appreciated, Justin.
