We are back with our speaker luncheons!!

The Redwood Genealogical Society Speaker Luncheon will meet at 11:30 am.Wednesday, September 9, 2026, at Locha's Restaurant, 751 S. Fortuna Blvd., Fortuna.

The program begins at noon with speaker, Nan Abrams. The topic of Nan’s power point presentation focuses on “The Early Jewish Settlements of the Eel River Valley of Southern Humboldt”. Nan further states that the settlement areas include Rio Del, Fortuna, Ferndale, Hydesville, and Petrolia,

RGS meetings are free and open to the public. The optional lunch is two tacos, chips, and beverage for $15 including tax.

QUIET~!
Sorry i have been so quiet here the last month or two. I am, as some of you know, been dealing with estate issues in southern California. This is coming to a close very soon. (I hope and pray) and I will no longer have the need to run south on a moments notice. The researcher will be out this month I promise, but it will be later than normal. My apologies. If anyone has any questions or topics they would like to see me publish, please let me know so I can put something in the researcher for you.The library has been closed all of July and will re open this month, we have speakers slated for our lunches in September and I believe October. I will post here the schedule with times and dates soon as I have it all squared away
